The next layer would consist of photographic and illustrated imagery to illuminate the content. As the days creep past I have given myself a deadline of the 10th to have all my spreads ready.
Issues
Looks impersonal and machine made with the distinct whiff of adobe illustrator about it. I need to remedy this with hand lettering and illustrations. Screw things up a bit (Or a lot.)
Two things I had in mind while working on these- 'Hidden narratives,' pages that work as pure pattern and reveal text upon closer inspection; And trying to manipulate typography to become part of the 'landscape' of an established arrangement of motifs.
Still trying.
